Red Dead Redemption Remaster likely headed to PS4

According to a Korean news outlet named Gamefocus, Rockstar games is set to reveal an updated remastered version of it’s hit Grand theft auto meets the old western open world action game which was released way back in 2010, Red Dead Redemption for current consoles as in the PS4, XBOX ONE and additionally the PC as it would be the first time that the game has seen release on this particular platform.

The announcement of the HD re-release is most likely to coincide with the official unveiling of new hardware by Sony aka the PS4 Neo and the PS4 Slim which has already leaked on September 7th in New York at the PlayStation meeting.

While there could be a chance of Rockstar games unveiling the long rumored second installment of this western open world franchise, it could only make sense for them to first re-introduce the old western classic to gamer’s who have yet to experience it on current consoles or to have gamer’s brush up to speed for the inevitable reveal of it’s second installment.
