PlayStation 4 NEO Official

Sony PlayStation 4 NEO has been officially announced and is set to hit the market before the end of 2016.

The rumours were already afloat with the new upgraded version of the PlayStation 4 with better specs and mainly VR compatibility, it was interesting to see that Sony did not decide to showcase the PlayStation 4 NEO at this year’s E3.

The new SKU has been confirmed which is currently under development and reports are coming in that it is weaker than Microsoft’s upcoming console announced at E3 codenamed Scorpio.

Although the Specs for the PlayStation 4 NEO have not been revealed but speculation is at an all-time high regarding its pricing and if it will truly be 4K compatible which it surely will or it has to right? Although it is somewhat confirmed that the NEO will have a 4K capable Blu-ray player which will scale games if supported accordingly.

PlayStation and Xbox users can rest assured on the fact that previous games and titles will be compatible with the newer upgraded models of the console. So far the NEO will have a better design and may give the option for players to scale the games the way they want too in terms of CPU output and also graphics just like Microsoft implementing the option.

Could it be that Microsoft has officially beaten Sony in terms of specs for the upcoming consoles or will Sony have some tricks up their sleeves? Time will tell and frankly it would’ve been better to announce the PlayStation 4 NEO at E3, because Sony as always had a brilliant showing.
